The MOBILITY IN GERMANY
study is being carried out by the infas Institute for Applied Social
Science Research and the Institute of Transport Research of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) on behalf of the Federal Ministry of
Transport, Building and Urban Affairs.

infas
is an independent social science research institute which was
founded in 1959 and has its headquarters in Bonn. As a service
institute for researchers, infas will carry out any task involving
the compilation, preparation, processing and analysis of empirical
data for the social sciences. |

The Institute of Transport Research of the German Aerospace Center (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt e.V., DLR) was established as an independent research institute in the year 2000. The strong point of the institute is combining empirical-analytical expertise with competences in the field of micro-modeling. |
Both institutes have proven track records as regards
methodology and research content. The MOBILITY IN GERMANY main survey
will be carried out by infas, which will receive support from the
DLR as regards the content and the scientific aspects of the study.
